At Swanson Traditional School, we believe that striving for excellence means doing the very best you can in all areas of life. We challenge our students to push beyond their limits, persevere through challenges, and embrace a love for learning.
Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our achievements, such as being recognized at a literacy awards program in 2024 for having 97% of third graders pass the I-Read assessment and earning the highest growth percentage in all of Indiana by I-Ready. We have also been honored with the prestigious National Blue Ribbon Award for our sustained academic success. Our students consistently outperform the state averages in both ELA and Math on the ILEARN assessment.

WHAT WE OFFER
At Swanson Traditional School, students have the opportunity to explore their interests and develop new skills through a variety of exciting extracurricular activities! They can participate in Student Council to grow leadership skills, join the Patrol team to promote school safety, dive into the world of technology with Robotics, build confidence and fitness in Girls on the Run, receive personalized support through After School Tutoring, or showcase their musical talents in Choir. There’s something for everyone to get involved, grow, and shine!
